Kent work is shaped by the county''s industries. Around Ashford, Maidstone and the Medway towns we install a lot of polyurethane HF screed in food, fruit-packing and horticultural processing buildings, where wash-down, cold and thermal shock rule out epoxy. Along the Thames and around Dover, Folkestone and Thanet, the demand is logistics, engineering and vehicle workshop floors — epoxy high build, self-levelling epoxy and heavy-duty coating systems with bay demarcation.

Packhouses and cold stores get particular attention. Cold rooms cannot always be brought up to temperature for an epoxy cure, and the thermal cycling in and out of chill will crack systems that are too rigid or too thin. We specify polyurethane cementitious systems for these areas, coved to walls and drainage, with anti-slip texture graded to the amount of standing water.

Because a lot of Kent sites are seasonal, timing matters. We plan installation in the quieter windows either side of peak packing and harvest, and we will phase a large area room by room rather than shutting a whole building.

Our teams travel with their own grinders, blasters, extraction and mixing plant, so rural sites and farm-based units with limited power or welfare are handled without hire delays.
