Food and agricultural buildings almost always take polyurethane cementitious systems. They handle wash-down, produce acids, thermal cycling from chill to ambient and the mechanical load of stillages and pallet trucks, and they can be laid at 6–9 mm with integral coving and falls to drainage. We finish these with a texture matched to the cleaning regime — too smooth is a slip risk in wet areas, too coarse is difficult to clean properly.
