The East Midlands logistics belt around Nottingham, Derby and the M1 junctions runs some of the highest-throughput warehousing in the country, and the floors show it. Most enquiries we get here are refurbishment rather than new build: dusting slabs, worn pick faces, spalled joint arrises, damaged turning circles and line marking that has been driven off.

We survey the whole floor before quoting, not just the visible defects. Joint condition, slab flatness at racking lines, moisture content and the state of any previous coating decide whether the right answer is a full coating, a targeted repair-and-recoat, or leaving a sound area alone. Recommending less work is often the honest answer, and we would rather quote it that way.

Where a coating is right, epoxy high build gives the best balance for high-traffic distribution: dust-free, sealable, chemically resistant to spilled fluids, and repairable in isolated bays later. Joint arrises are cut out and reinstated in resin mortar with the correct joint profile so wheel impact is carried by material designed for it.

All of this is phased around the operation. We work to racking blocks, aisle by aisle, across nights, weekends and shutdowns, with clear return-to-traffic times per coat stated in the quotation.
